The restaurant developed as the next venture in Chef Jose's career of cooking. Funnily enough, the name "Cafe Jose" came from the owner's daughter, a child at the time. With the name and idea in mind, Chef Jose started work on the business in June 2018 and opened the restaurant for business the following month.
