The Blue Goose has been providing the Stratford, Milford, and Bridgeport, CT area with a superior dining experience since 1910. In the 1930's, the restaurant was owned by the Moshier family, who decided to name the establishment after a little streamlined train that passed by daily. Since then, the restaurant has been run by a few different families - the Spadas, then the Augustyn family, and now the Pappas family. What unites these families, you ask? Their passion for restaurant and banquet hall services and the pride of carrying on the legacy of serving quality seafood by the river.
